The Penquis Leadership Institute believes that local problems are best solved by local leaders. The PLI’s goal is to promote long-term commitment and economic development by broadening the local leadership base. Growing the pool of new leaders is critical to the continued strength of our economy and our ability to maintain vibrant rural communities. By combining general leadership skills and networking opportunities with regional information and issues, the Penquis Leadership Institute provides a unique learning experience for new and emerging leaders who care about this region’s future.
